The Swiss Championships were held on a demanding track in the VIP-Resort of Zermatt. One month after the World Cup Finals, it was hard for the Athletes to stay focused for this important race. Robin Hagen managed to do his job absolutely brilliant and showed everybody what a great athlete he is! While Nick Beer and Emilie Siegenthaler destroyed the field in the elite-categories, Robin stayed close to the winner and local hero Nicolas Gspan in the junior field. Silver medal for Robin Hagen and the Tomac Factory Racing Team! In the 4X Race, Adrian Weiss finished on the fifth place after messing up his start in the semi final and winning the small final.

Die Schweizermeisterschaften fanden auf einer anspruchsvollen Strecke im Nobelkurort Zermatt statt. Einen Monat nach dem Weltcupfinal, erforderte es viel Disziplin, um für dieses wichtige Rennen konzentriert zu bleiben. Unser Junior Robin Hagen schaffte dies brilliant und zeigte allen, was er für ein Athlet ist! Während Nick Beer und Emilie Siegenthaler die Elitefelder weit distanzierten, konnte Robin Hagen bei den Junioren nahe am Sieger Nicolas Gspan dranbleiben. Silber für Robin Hagen und das Tomac Factory Racing Team! Im Fourcross wurde Adrian Weiss fünfter, nachdem er im Halbfinal am Start schlecht weggekommen war und danach den kleinen Final gewann. At the last race of the IXS Swiss Cup 2008, Joseph Smith wins again with a fantastic time! The conditions in Bellwald were extremely difficult, with very cold temperatures and melting snow and ice on the course. Joseph placed second in the Elite category, only 2.7 seconds behind Nick Beer. Am letzten Rennen des IXS Swiss Cups siegte Joseph Smith schon wieder mit einer unglaublichen Zeit. Die Bedingungen in Bellwald waren durch die kalten Temperaturen und schmelzenden Schnee und Eis auf der Strecke extrem schwierig. Smith wurde in der Elite-Kategorie zweiter, nur gerade 2.7 Sekunden hinter Nick Beer. This weekend, the Tomac Factory Racing Team will race at two events at the same time! The legendary Red Bull Jungfrau Stafette through whole Switzerland will have it’s downhill stage in Fiesch, right on the other side of the valley of Bellwald, where the IXS Swiss Cup finals will be raced. This means, our riders will be practicing and racing in both places on the same day.

Dieses Wochenende started das Tomac Factory Racing Team an zwei Events gleichzeitig. Die legendäre Red Bull Jungfrau Stafette hat ihre Downhill-Etappe in Fiesch, auf der gegenüberliegenden Talseite von Bellwald, wo das IXS Swiss Cup Finale gefahren wird. Somit werden unsere Fahrer zwischen Bellwald und Fiesch hin- und herpendeln, und am selben Tag in beiden Orten trainieren und racen.

Another great success for the Tomac Factory Racing Team: Joseph Smith wins the IXS European Cup Final in Leogang, Austria and takes the overall title with a huge lead! Once again his time would have placed him in the top 5 in the Elite category. Robin Hagen ranked 5th in Leogang, which put him into 4th place overall. Victory as well for the Weiss brothers: Adrian and Mirco took the first two spots at the BMX-Cup in Oligate, Italy!

Ein weiteres grosses Wochenende für das Tomac Factory Racing Team: Joseph Smith siegt am IXS European Cup Final in Leogang, Österreich, und gewinnt damit mit grossem Vorsprung die Gesamtwertung des Cups! Wiederum wäre seine Zeit für eine Top 5 Platzierung in der Eliteklasse gut gewesen. Sieg ebenfalls für die Weiss-Brüder: Adrian und Mirco sorgen für einen Doppelsieg am BMX-Cup in Oligate, Italien!

This is a big day for the Tomac Factory Racing Team. Junior Rider Joseph Smith enters the top 20 in the final race of the 2008 world cup and places 18th! This puts him into third position in the worldcup overall of the juniors. Big news also from our australian junior: For the first time in his life, Rhys Willemse qualifies for a world cup final! Success as well for Adrian Weiss on friday, who makes it into the second round at the 4X. After focusing on the team management, not racing the downhill, Claudio Caluori is now preparing for the Cross Country Race of tomorrow…

Ein grosser Tag für das Tomac Factory Racing Team. Junior Joseph Smith schafft es im Weltcupfinal 2008 in die Top 20 und wird 18ter! The first two days of training in Schladming brought us a mix of rain and sun. Our riders stayed on their bikes, prepared well and are definitely ready for tomorrows world cup finals. Joseph Smith ranked 19th in today’s timed training session.

Die ersten zwei Tage in Schladming brachten uns einen Mix aus Regen und Sonne. Unsere Fahrer blieben auf ihrem Bike, bereiteten sich optimal vor und sind nun definitiv bereit für den morgigen Weltcupfinal. Joseph Smith fuhr im heutigen Zeittraining in die Top 20.

A very eventful time with loads of work led us to the World cup finals in Schladming, Austria. The juniors have been training in Schladming for two weeks while Adrian and Mirco had some more top results at local races and Claudio was working with our partners on future plans. Junior Rider Tamryn Murrel was the only Tomac Factory Racing Team rider at the australian round of the world cup. He finished in 52nd position after sitting in the hotseat for a while. The rest of the team is training hard to prepare for the world cup  finals in Schladming, Austria.

Der Junior Tamryn Murrel war der einzige Tomac Factory Racing Teamfahrer am australischen Weltcup in Canberra. Nachdem er eine Weile im Hotseat sitzen durfte, wurde er 52ster. Der Rest des Teams trainiert zur Zeit hart, um sich auf das Weltcupfinale in Schladming vorzubereiten.

Joseph Smith wins another international race! This time, he showed his speed at the IXS European Cup in Ilmenau, Germany. His time would have given him 5th place in the pro field, only 3 seconds behind winner Nick Beer, less than a second behind german legend Marcus Klausmann. The Tomac Factory Racing Team is now heading to Schladming to prepare for the World Cup Finals in September.

Joseph Smith gewinnt schon wieder ein internationales Rennen! Dieses mal zeigte er sein Können am IXS European Cup in Ilmenau, Deutschland. Seine Zeit war gut für einen 5ten Platz bei der Elite, nur gerade drei Sekunden hinter dem Gewinner Nick Beer, weniger als eine Sekunde hinter dem deutschen Star Marcus Klausmann. Das Tomac Factory Racing Team fährt nun nach Schladming, um sich für das Weltcupfinale im September vorzubereiten.
